Written Expressive Therapy is a 5-session, trauma-focused therapy. It relies on your written, detailed narrative about the traumatic memory that is maintaining your PTSD symptoms. This therapy requires no homework, and very little interaction or interference from the therapist.
Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR)
involves telling a verbal, detailed account of your traumatic memories in a safe space with the guidance of your therapist. You will narrate the account multiple times to desensitize you from the traumatic memory thus reducing PTSD symptoms.
